Settlement Expanse Mine (Ore)

Designed and developed by Deep Core enterprises this is a third generation Deep Core Mining unit. They are mostly autonomous and apart from an initial setup and the odd maintenance check can run for months unattended.

They were originally intended for dropping from orbit on uninhabitable planets and later retrieval by robot recovery but with some minor adjustments and Alien engineering Deep Core managed to convert these behemoth mining units for unattended Expanse Settlement use.

This unit is capable of mining various Ores at deep substrata levels that other standard extraction machines can not. It will mine several ores at the same time and through a system of automated conveyors deposit these directly into the local Commercial Storage bins.
