Aurora Deflector Halo 1

The Aurora Deflector is a pod that had been developed collectively by Sphere, Anvil, Forge and Verecian scientists to try to help captains in the fight against the Alien threat. Little is known about the Aliens and the alien expanse, but what little data that has been retrieved has been utilised in the construction of this pod.

Through the use of resonators, electro magnetic jammers, sound wave displacers and radar buffers, the scientists have developed a system that attempts to block the Alien targetting systems and disable their primary and secondary weapon systems. The pod is highly experimental, highly temperamental and though some success has been recorded the device is not 100% effective.

The Aurora Deflector is available in six different types, but due to the technology used it is impossible to equip more than one at any time without completely destroying the ship's own internal systems.
